Director Statement
When I read this script from award winning poet Jessica Care moore, I knew I wanted to direct it. This is definitely her story, and it’s one we hope many artists and women will be inspired by. We both have a deep love for the City of Detroit and making this film happen during the pandemic here was an inspirational labor of love.
