LORISA BATES
Lorisa Bates, the CEO of Batesville Media, LLC, is a veteran television and film industry executive with over 25 years of experience spanning the licensing and development arenas. As a successful content creator, negotiator, and business innovator, she has cultivated relationships with diverse stakeholders, developed new business opportunities and managed multimillion-dollar budgets. Prior to starting her own company, Lorisa served as Vice President of Programming Content Strategy, Co-Productions & Multiplatform at BET Networks, overseeing the day-to-day operations of licensing content, producing company initiatives and original movies and scheduling/planning for all VOD platform strategy. During her tenure in this role, Lorisa was responsible for greenlighting over 70+ original movies, 5 short film initiatives (The Couch, The Waiting, Juneteenth, The Lifeline and The Hotline), 4 television shows and 8 music specials.
JEFF RIVERA
Jeff Rivera is a writer, producer, and founding partner at Collective Five Entertainment, a collective of media companies telling universal stories through the lens of Black and Brown voices. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of Bypass Hollywood. He has worked with Oscar and Emmy winners, bestselling authors, and thought leaders across media. Known for championing independent creators, Rivera specializes in developing compelling content that breaks barriers and resonates globally.
