As a producer at Black Noise Media\, she worked on the award-winning short film The Trade and the BRIC TV series Soul Kings. Kara also directed the short film Heads or Tails\, which aired nationwide\, and developed safety protocols for indie filmmakers during the pandemic. \nA member of New York Women in Film & Television (NYWIFT)\, Kara has hosted screenings and co-hosted awards shows for the Reel Sisters of the Diaspora Film Festival.
